Taylor Fritz captured his elusive first ATP title with an emphatic victory over fellow American Sam Querrey in Eastbourne.

Fritz broke the Querrey serve in his first attempt and never relinquished control, needing just one hour to win the match 6-3, 6-4. Fritz dominated on serve, winning a whopping 89% of his first serve points. Fritz faced just one break point the entire match.

It appears the 21-year-old American’s game is tailor made for the grass courts, his huge serve and crushing flat strokes proved too much for the rest of the competition.

Fritz will face off against 2010 finalist Tomas Berdych in a very winnable first round next week at Wimbledon.
