Taylor Fritz advanced to his second final in as many weeks on Friday, brushing aside Radu Albot, 6-3, 6-2, in Los Cabos. The 21-year-old will square off against third seed Diego Schwartzman in Saturday’s title match.

Fritz, who finished runner-up last week in Atlanta to Alex de Minaur, controlled his semifinal with Albot by winning 25 of 28 first serve points and firing nine aces along the way. In the final game of the match, the fifth seed erased the lone break point he faced to seal the victory in 71 minutes.

The American is bidding to win his second title of the season, having triumphed at Eastbourne for his maiden crown. Fritz and Schwartzman have split their two previous meetings, with Fritz taking their most recent encounter this spring in Monte Carlo. The two find themselves next to each other in this week's ATP rankings, with Schwartzman at No. 27 and Fritz at No. 28.

Earlier Saturday, Schwartzman came out on top in an all-Argentine semifinal against No. 2 seed Guido Pella, 6-3, 3-6, 6-1. The 26-year-old is aiming to lift his first trophy of the season and first on a surface outside of outdoor clay.
