Frequent TENNIS.com contributor and veteran tennis writer Matt Cronin is recovering from brain surgery and wanted to give you an update on his progress. You can read more about Matt at his website, tennisreporters.net. I'd also recommend this heartfelt piece penned by one of Matt's longtime colleagues and friends, Joel Drucker.

I can speak for everyone at The Tennis Media Company in wishing Matt a successful road back to his greatest passion, tennis (second only to tweeting). If you'd like to leave Matt a note, please do so in the comments section below.—Ed McGrogan, Online Editor

This message is to let you know that I will not be at the French Open. My recovery from brain surgery is taking longer than expected, but I am working hard and miss everyone at TENNIS.com.
