If you're an intermediate player with an obsession to hit harder and get better, demo the Prince More Approach. It has enough control for advanced players with long swings, but the Approach's light weight and oversize head make it most appropriate for NTRP 3.5--4.0 players who want a little extra pop. Testers said that the racquet played well from the baseline and net, and they recommended it for JV high schoolers hoping to make varsity. With the grommet-free design, the Approach provides lots of feel (if it's too much, use a vibration dampener to reduce string vibration). On serves, players hit the ball with more power and spin, and they weren't afraid to follow their delivery to net: The Approach was stable enough to keep volleys on target. On the downside, testers said that the sweet spot was a tad small; miss it and you'll experience a loss of power.

Bottom Line
A versatile racquet for improving intermediates.
