Imagine getting a Porsche for the price of a Honda. That's the deal (or is that steal?) with the Prince Triple Threat Scream, a high performance racquet with an exceptionally low retail price of $120. Designed for that broad band of players who fall between intermediate and advanced, the Scream offers a terrific blend of power and control from both baseline and net. Testers applauded the stabilizing effects of Triple Threat technology: Braids of graphite, copper, titanium, and tungsten at the 2 and 10 o'clock positions on the head and at the bottom of the handle prevent twisting. "This racquet is solid as a rock," said a 4.5 player. "There's no vibration, and it doesn't move in your hand on off-center hits." As one might expect, the oversize has more pop and, according to testers, is best for counter-punchers looking to get extra depth on choppy strokes.
