Adidas Accelerator

Adidas AcceleratorMEN
Price: $130
Weight: 15.4 oz.
Sizes: 6.5–14.5
Ideal Foot Types: Neutral and supinated

SALES PITCH:
A sturdy, sleek shoe designed for serious players who move aggressively.

FINAL ANALYSIS:
With the mirrorlike, hard-plastic support piece visibly cradling the foot, and the bright orange a3 cushioning bubbles positioned from the heel to the arch, the Accelerator has some flash. But there’s function behind the eye-catching design. The plastic provides good lateral stability, and the bubbles cushion the foot on impact, which should satisfy even the most intense movers. The upper is well perforated, for a breezy fit. We found the Accelerator to be a little stiff at first, particularly the a3 bubbles, which are a thick plastic. But the shoe does loosen up after a few times on the court.
