Final Analysis: The original Torneo was focused on providing lightweight comfort. This time around, Fila added weight and new technology to provide more stability—most notably a piece of plastic to support the rear of the foot (called an External Heel Stabilizer). Even so, the shoe will still allow you to zoom around the baseline. The ventilation could be better, but otherwise the Torneo is a nice improvement for Fila in the performance shoe category. No wonder it’s the favored choice among Fila touring pros.
