Final analysis: This innovative K-Swiss shoe comes with two interchangeable insoles: a cushioned, supportive insole for maximum comfort, and a lighter option for a responsive ride that’s lower to the ground. You’re supposed to use the cushioned insoles on your workout days and the lighter ones when competing. (In the fall K-Swiss will also offer stability and orthotic insoles.) It can take a little effort to switch the insoles, which stay in place thanks to a plastic knob on the underside that fi ts into a notch in the heel, but once there they do their jobs. The rest of the shoe is dependable, as well. Stability around the heel could be more secure, but otherwise the miSoul is a reliable shoe that will appeal to high-level players.
