Final analysis: The preferred shoe of Rafael Nadal, the Courtballistec is stable and cushioned and will provide the support you need. That’s nothing new from a Nike performance shoe, but unlike some previous models, which had narrow fits, this one scores well in the comfort department. The Drag-On X dimpled leather material in the upper and roomier toe box make for a soft feel. The Air Max in the heel absorbs shock but keeps your foot a little high off the court, which can feel awkward given the low ride in theforefoot. We agreed with weartesters that the shoe was a bit heavy, and they said the tongueless design made it tough to put on, but otherwise, the Courtballistec is an ace.
