FIRST TAKE:
This Prince is aimed at players looking for a comfortable shoe with moderate stability.

HOW IT TESTED:
The Quiktrac GT’s main benefit is comfort, with a light, low-profile EVA midsole and extra padding in the heel and forefoot that make it a pleasure to wear when your feet are pounding a hard court. Like other Quiktrac shoes, this one is relatively light, and it’s available in the rarest of breeds these days—a mid-cut, for extra ankle support. Women made an odd observation: The Quiktrac GT seemed to sit back on the heel, giving the impression that the forefoot was slightly off the ground and making it somewhat difficult to push off. But the men didn’t have this problem, praising the Quiktrac GT as Prince’s best shoe in years.

BOTTOM LINE:
The shoe’s comfort makes this an outstanding pick, especially if you play primarily on hard courts.
