SALES PITCH:
Prince looks to update its popular QT Scream with improvements to the midsole for more support and stability.

HOW IT TESTED:
The QT Scream 2 has some good things going for it. The ShockEraser midsole insert and the cushy inner sole provide a soft ride. And having the lacing system integrated with the side panels of the upper, while adding a bit of weight, provides great support. There’s also a molded plastic stabilizer in the shank for added sturdiness. Unfortunately, some of this benefit is nullified by the flex point: Ideally you want a shoe to bend near the ball of your foot, its natural bending point, but the QT Scream 2 folds closer to the middle. This has the potential to cause discomfort with extended use.

BOTTOM LINE:
Fans of Prince shoes who are looking for a comfortable, stable model may find the QT Scream 2 to their liking.
