Pro Staff shoes are popular with teaching pros because they usually have great comfort and stability. This model lives up to that reputation.

HOW IT TESTED:
Thanks to synthetic beads with air in the heel and foam in the forefoot, the Pro Staff Elite is as plush as any of the shoes tested. But while cushioned shoes often feel mushy underfoot due to a lack of support, this one is sturdy and responsive. Stability enhancements— an arch support that snakes around the heel and the ability to lace the shoe through support pieces in the upper—keep your feet in check. Players might balk at the heavy weight, but the Pro Staff Elite is terrific for players who log serious hours on court.
