FINAL ANALYSIS
Built strictly for speed, the SHT-304S is the lightest men’s shoe we’ve seen in quite a while, and there’s virtually no break-in time required. The drawback is that with its lightweight outsole, you’ll feel every pebble on the ground. It’s not for older players, especially those with heel spurs or metatarsalgia (discomfort on the balls of the feet). Juniors with healthy feet and knees can strap them on to zip around the court during a big match, but they should opt for a more stable and weighty shoe for practice. The shoe has abundant vent holes and mesh in the uppers for great ventilation that you’ll enjoy on a hot day, as long as you don’t mind feeling the heat from the hard court coming through the bottoms.
