Life-long performer Uzo Aduba, she of "Crazy Eyes" fame on Netflix's Orange Is the New Black, shared a compelling US Open story all her own on Twitter during the tournament's first week.

The actor, herself a college-level track-and-field athlete, was wowed by watching live as Venus claimed the first of her two US Open singles titles and seven Grand Slam singles crowns overall.

Fittingly enough, Aduba herself has a collection of Emmy and Screen Actors Guild awards, also totaling seven.

Aduba, at 38 and born in February 1981, lands squarely between the two Williams sisters age-wise.

"I've always loved the game and I've always loved the [queens]," she tweeted as a follow-up—and it's not crazy to see why.
