Agassi, Roddick, Pegula, Navarro to participate in tennis benefit for Western North Carolina: ‘Stars Servin’ Up Love’

Western North Carolina is still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Helene—and is now dealing with a wildfire which has forced evacuations in parts of the region. It only makes this weekend's relief effort in the state even more significant, poignant and important.

Tennis stars are not sitting idly by, as Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick, Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro will to play in a celebrity tennis match on Sunday, February 2, in Asheville. Called ‘Stars Servin’ Up Love,’ the benefit will see the four Americans hit alongside celebrity guests Michael Kosta, Pete Wentz, Jeff Probst and Esai Morales.

Event partner Goldin is hosting an auction to add to the relief efforts. Live now, it continues through Thursday, February 6. Items include tickets to Grand Slam tournaments and other one-of-a-kind experiences. All proceeds will be donated to local relief funds.

"Even though neither one of us are really qualified to play with professional tennis players, we have racquets, therefore we're going to," Probst, the longtime host of Survivor, said on Instagram alongside Wentz, bassist and lyricist of Fall Out Boy.

This is hardly the first time the tennis community will come together to aid in recovery. Most recently, Taylor Fritz donated his first-round prize money from this year’s Australian Open to wildfire relief in Southern California, and Tennis Channel’s Brett Haber flew into Rutherfordton, N.C. following Hurricane Helene to help deliver needed supplies.

"My day was with the people of Rutherfordton, N.C.—but it's happening in dozens of communities around the state—and it embodies everything our country aspires to," Haber wrote.

‘Stars Servin’ Up Love’ will air live on Tennis Channel and TennisChannel.com at 3 p.m. ET, and re-air on Tennis Channel 2 on Monday.
