If any tennis fans are planning a family in the near future, it might be a good idea to circle May 5. Seems like it's the perfect birthday for tennis pros, as a trio of stars celebrated another year around the sun on Friday.

We'll begin at the Mutua Madrid Open, where Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka rang in 20 and 25, respectively, at the Caja Mágica. Alcaraz improved to 1-0 as a 20-year-old with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Borna Coric to advance to the final at the ATP Masters 1000 event for the second year in a row.

"I would like to be a teenager a little bit more, you know, for the stats," he joked afterwards, noting his prodigious achievements as a teenager. "I don't feel any difference to turn 20 right now. [I've] just been the same person. I don't feel more adult or with more experience, just for [turning] 20."

While Alcaraz had to work on his birthday, Sabalenka got the day off to celebrate her quarter-century milestone the right way. She'll face Iga Swiatek in the women's championship on Saturday, their second meeting with a trophy on the line in as many weeks.

"Happy birthday to me," she wrote on Twitter, with celebratory emojis accompany a glamorous snap.

Madrid wasn't the only place on tour where one could snag some birthday cake on Friday: American Chris Eubanks turned 27 inSouth Korea, where he's competing in an ATP Challenger this week.

Eubanks is seeded No. 2 at the Gwangju Open, played in South Korea's sixth-largest city, and took fans down memory lane by posting an adorable photo of him as a child, complete in Nike gear and a bucket hat.

(Eagle eyes might've noted that the young Eubanks is posing in front of a poster of Jim Courier, whom he now shares a booth with as a Tennis Channel commentator when he's not on tour.)

People often utter the phrase, "Never meet your heroes," but in this case, we think it worked out well for him.

Eubanks' fellow Tennis Channel personalities Monica Puig and Prakash Amritraj were among those to wish Eubanks well in the comments.

"Happy birthday youngin!" Puig wrote.
