Finalist, Citi Open ATP 500 (Washington, D.C.)

McDonald upstaged the likes of Nick Kyrgios, Benoit Paire, and Kei Nishikori to reach his first ATP final. It took Jannik Sinner three sets to take down the American, but McDonald showed that when he plays at his best, he is a tough player to beat. As a result, the 26-year-old soared 43 spots in returning to the Top 100 at No. 64.

2. Danielle Collins

Champion, Silicon Valley Classic WTA 500 (San Jose, California)

Make it 10 wins in a row for Collins. The No. 7 seed swept aside the competition at the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic in San Jose, Calif. to claim her second straight title. Daria Kasatkina almost made a comeback, fending off five championship points in the second set, but Collins dug deep to hold off the Russian.

3. Jenson Brooksby

Semifinalist, Citi Open ATP 500 (Washington, D.C.)

Less than four months ago, Brooksby was flying under the radar with a ranking outside the Top 200. However, a stellar stretch on the ATP Challenger Tour and tremendous start to the US Open Series have seen the 20-year-old skyrocket to No. 99. A final in Newport and now a semifinal run in Washington, D.C. are making other players, such as Andy Murray, pay attention.

4. Madison Brengle

Semifinalist, Thoreau Tennis Open WTA 125 (Concord, Mass.)

Madison Brengle reached her first WTA 125 semifinal since January 2020, when she won the Newport Beach trophy. In Concord, Brengle ultimately fell to eighth seed Renata Zarazua after opening a one-set lead.
