Andrey Rublev has long sworn by his light-blocking glasses as part of his efforts to “conquer the storm inside”—and now he’s taking that obsession one step further, dropping his own signature frames in collaboration with Ra Optics.
The Russian has been sporting the brand’s colorful glasses for over a year, sparking a trend that’s spread across the ATP and WTA Tour. Novak Djokovic, Elena Rybakina, Alexander Bublik and more have all been spotted wearing Ra Optics’ signature yellow or orange lenses.

But the glasses are more than just a fashion statement. According to Ra Optics founder Matt Maruca—often seen in Rublev’s player box—the brand is rooted in the belief that light has a major impact on health, sleep and focus. Artificial blue light from screens, LED fixtures, and fluorescent bulbs can disrupt the body’s circadian rhythm, and over time, this can negatively affect performance and recovery.
