Andrey Rublev may have lost his fourth-round match against Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday at Wimbledon—but he arguably won the style game on Centre Court.

While Alcaraz's newest Rolex model has been making watch-spotters drool, the Russian was spotted wearing a jaw-dropping piece of horological engineering on his wrist—with equally jaw-dropping price tag—throughout his run at the All England Club.

The No. 14 seed took the court wearing Vanguart’s Orb watch in titanium, paired with a bright neon green strap. Featuring a skeleton dial that reveals intricate inner mechanisms—including a levitating flying tourbillon—the piece retails for 150,000 Swiss francs, or approximately $180,000 USD.

The Orb was released last year by Vanguart, a newer luxury watchmaker from Switzerland that’s quickly gaining a following for its high-end, high-complication designs. The company made its debut in 2021 with The Black Hole, a spaceship-like watch with a concave dial and a buzzy collaboration with NBA star James Harden.

Now it’s Rublev turning heads with the futuristic-looking Orb, both on and off the court. He was seen wearing the watch with a taupe strap during the trophy ceremony in Hamburg, and then swapped it for green to match his Wimbledon kit.

Rublev previously had a watch partnership with Bulgari, helping the Italian fashion house release a limited-edition Match Point watch back in 2023. It’s unclear whether he now has a formal relationship with Vanguart—Baseline reached out to the brand for comment but did not receive confirmation. Still, we’re officially intrigued by this doubles pairing.

With Rublev bowing out in four sets on Sunday, the fashion world lost one luxurious watch from the draw—but there was still more to come. Alcaraz slipped into a striking timepiece of his own for the post-match interview.

The four-time Grand Slam champion wore a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona “Tiffany” watch—the same model he sported in Paris during his Roland Garros title defense. Featuring a turquoise-blue and black dial, 18-carat gold case and sporty black Oysterflex strap, the watch has been a collector’s favorite since its release in April. It remains a rare sight in the wild, though actor Russell Crowe was recently spotted wearing the same model in the Royal Box.

A Rolex testimonee since 2022, Alcaraz has been expanding his luxury watch collection with every major win. He recently showed off a customized Cosmograph Daytona with “ROLAND-GARROS CHAMPION 2024” engraved on the back.

Alcaraz returns to Centre Court on Tuesday, where he’ll face home favorite Cameron Norrie in the quarterfinals.
