Each day of the Australian Open, Baseline will feature an AO Player of the Day that may not be the most famous face or headline-stirring upset, but someone who earned special recognition.

Caroline Wozniacki was almost knocked out of the Australian Open, but her tenacity and willingness to keep fighting, won her the match from the brink of defeat.

The No. 2 seed split sets with Croatia's Jana Fett, but no one was panicking just yet.  The real drama started in the third set when Fett had two match points against the Dane while up 5-1. Wozniacki fought off those two points and won six straight games to take the match, 3-6, 6-2, 7-5.

It was an incredible comeback and she will bring that momentum into her third-round match against KiKi Bertens.
