The ATP recently asked a burning question to current players: Who would they choose to win one set to save their life? It came to no surprise that many picked Big Three members Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic.

"Roger Federer because he is just the closest to perfection ever possible," Stefanos Tsitsipas said.

It's difficult to pick against the Swiss given his track record on the court. He held the No. 1 spot for a record total of 310 weeks and 237 were consecutive, he also holds the record for most Grand Slam titles with Nadal at 20.

Not to mention, the world No. 5 has captured 103 ATP singles titles, which is the second-most of all time (Jimmy Connors still holds the record at 109).

Some of the top players opted to go with Nadal instead of his rival Federer.

"Nadal on clay," Djokovic said. "It's obvious, you know why."

It's safe to say most of the tennis world knows why. The Spaniard has hoisted an incredible 13 Roland Garros trophies, with his latest victory on the terre battue coming in dominating fashion. Nadal blazed through the draw without dropping a set, and defeated world No. 1 Djokovic in straight sets in this year's final.

"I would probably say Nadal," Felix Auger-Aliassime said. "Obviously because of the great player he is, and in the clutch moments, also under pressure he's always been able to come up with great tennis whenever he needed to in his career."

Seventeen-time major champion Djokovic has finished as the year-end No. 1 on six occasions, a record shared with only Pete Sampras. The Serbian, of course, was also a favorite among the players.

"I mean the guy has been the best player of the decade and when he's in his best mode, he's one of the most impossible players to beat," Marin Cilic said. of Djokovic. "I have a great friendship with him and would definitely give him my life to play for."

Kei Nishikori, Daniil Medvedev, Diego Schwartzman and Denis Shapovalov all joined Cilic in picking Djokovic to save their lives.

Gael Monfils might have been the only player to pick outside the Big Three. The Frenchman chose his girlfriend, WTA world No. 5 Elina Svitolina to save his life.

"I will pick my girlfriend Elina," Monfils said. "Why? Because, I know she loves me and she will fight for sure."
