ATP swaps player haircuts to create disarming results
Published May 22, 2020
What happens when the ATP Tour has almost no action happening on the courts, but they still want to have fun? They head over to photoshop, and swap around player haircuts. The results are as terrifying and weird as you think, yet it's hard to look away.
The swapped pairs include: Nick Kyrgios and Stefanos Tsitsipas, Gael Monfils and Alexander Zverev, Frances Tiafoe and Jannik Sinner, Denis Shapovalov and Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Stan Wawrinka and Grigor Dimitrov.
The players chimed in, with Kyrgios saying "THE GREEKS BABY", Auger-Aliassime commenting "That's wild," and Taifoe more than pleased with his new look saying "I look fire with Sinner's hair."
Yet the ATP didn't stop there, dropping another round of swaps on Thursday. The latest round includes: Dominic Thiem and Novak Djokovic, Dustin Brown and Juan Martin Del Potro, Andy and Jamie Murray, and Gustavo Kuerten and Andre Agassi.
Djokovic chimed in for this one, saying "Thx for the 'upgrade' of my hairstyle."
Who knows what will come next from the ATP's creative team, but one thing is for sure: the online world, and all of the players, are watching closely.
