The 22-year-old's plate has been more than full since returning to Italy.

There’s no time for slowing down when you win a major title. Just ask Jannik Sinner.

On Sunday, the world No. 4 rallied from two sets down to defeat Daniil Medvedev in the Australian Open final to become the first Italian man to win a Grand Slam singles title in nearly 48 years.

The next morning, Sinner took part in the customary champion’s photo shoot before departing Australia. During a stopover in Dubai, the 22-year-old was spotted by a traveling tennis fan carrying his trophy home as his personal item.

By Tuesday, Sinner was in Rome meeting one-on-one with Premier Giorgia Meloni at the Chigi Palace. While there, Meloni showed the San Candido native his championship point winning moment.

A day later, Sinner was front and center for media at a press conference led by Italian Tennis and Padel Federation president Angelo Binaghi. A truly iconic photo shoot was also on the itinerary, as the Melbourne gladiator lifted the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup at the Colosseum.

Sinner's week of appearances isn’t done yet. For he and his 2023 Davis Cup champion teammates are due to be honored Thursday by Sergio Mattarella, President of Italy.
