Babolat Wimbledon Collection

Babolat and Wimbledon go way back. Two years prior to the tournament’s first edition, Babolat invented the very first tennis string. 150 years later, countless Wimbledon winners have used the French brand’s equipment on their way to titles. The relationship deepened in 2013 when Babolat became Wimbledon’s official supplier of racquets, strings, footwear, bags and accessories, eventually becoming the tournament’s official racquet stringing service in 2022.

To commemorate the partnership, Babolat has produced another unique Wimbledon collection. The line includes six racquets, including three junior models. The headliner is the Pure Drive Wimbledon, which flips the script this year with a darker cosmetic. It retains the same specs and performance as the standard blue model, so current users can easily add it to their collections.

There are also four shoes, including a junior model, which adhere to the Wimbledon whites tradition. In particular, the Jet Mach 3 Grass sports a Michelin outsole specifically designed to handle the slick grass surface.

Rounding out the collection is a trio of bags. Also predominantly in white, there are two racquet bags—holding up to 6 or 9 frames—and a backpack for smaller tasks.

Additionally, The Perfect Match: Babolat and Tennis Since 1875, a new book chronicling the company’s long and storied history with the sport launches in the UK during Wimbledon. With forewords written by legends Bjorn Borg and Rafael Nadal, the book is filled with beautiful photography and a story of passion and innovation from VS gut to the Pure Drive.
