When a player has won as many clay court titles as Rafael Nadal has, one wonders why he didn't have a court named after him sooner. At the Barcelona Open, the ATP 500 level tournament officially renamed the center court to "Pista Rafa Nadal," a great honor for the greatest clay court player of all time.

It's very fitting considering that Nadal holds the Open Era record for the Barcelona Open with nine titles, alongside Monte Carlo and the French Open.
