Barty, Halep reset from Roland Garros with outdoor fun
Published Jun 12, 2019
It seems like the second Roland Garros finished, the pros scattered to get some much-needed rest and relaxation before the grass-court season. Newly crowned Grand Slam champion Ashley Barty tried her hand at golf just outside of Birmingham.
Katerina Siniakova, who upset world No. 1 Naomi Osaka in Paris, went for a scenic bike ride.
After reaching the quarterfinals, Simona Halep jetted to Romania to reboot at home.
Garbine Muguruza made her way to the beach after her fourth-round run at the Slam she won in 2016.
Meanwhile, Timea Bacsinszky took a trip to Athens where she had a grand time doing a photoshoot. She fit in a run to the doubles final at a WTA $125K Series in Bol right after the French Open.
And though he missed the clay Slam with a stress fracture in his foot, John Isner got the memo and enjoyed the great outdoors in Wyoming with his family.
There's not much time to rest with Wimbledon just around the corner.
