Bautista Agut welcomes his first child, Roberto

Roberto Bautista Agut may not have gotten as far at the US Open as he may have wanted, reaching the third round, but the Spaniard received something even better; a son. The world No. 10  could have been distracted in New York as his wife, Ana Bodi Tortosa, was pregnant in Spain.

On Tuesday, the couple welcomed into the world their first child, a son named Roberto. It has been a whirlwind year for Agut, marrying his sweetheart during the off-season, only for the Spaniard's father to pass away just days later.

Agut was given many congratulations after the announcement. The US Open, The Western and Southern Open, Pablo Andujar and more reached out via social media.

Now the Spaniard has something to celebrate, sharing the baby news on social media with his wife in a hospital bed in Valencia. The couple's pregnancy was revealed back in May.
