Reunited and it feels so good: Twelve months ago, Belinda Bencic beat Ons Jabeur in the singles final at the Credit One Charleston Open, and the two Top 10 players reunited in the Lowcountry on Sunday for a scenic tour of a historic site.

On the eve of main-draw play, the two played tennis on Charleston's iconic Pitt Street Bridge, which was once a major thoroughfare in the area. From the Revolutionary War through the 1920s, the bridge was the only way for travelers to ferry between Mount Pleasant and two South Carolina islands: Sullivan's Island and the Isle of Palms.

Dubbed "where the court meets the coast" by the tournament's official social media, the area is now a picturesque public park, meaning Bencic and Jabeur enjoyed a breathtaking backdrop for their hit-and-giggle.

Nestled beneath palm trees and surrounded by marshland, the two WTA stars traded volleys both over a miniature net, complete with a panoramic view of Charleston Harbor, and as they strolled down the bridge.

After playing a classic final in Charleston a year ago, Bencic and Jabeur could meet again for the trophy in a week's time, as they were drawn on opposite sides in the draw for the first clay-court event of the season.

Bencic, seeded No. 4, faces the winner of the first-round match between American Lauren Davis and Canadian qualifier Katherine Sebov, while Jabeur's first opponent will be either Lesia Tsurenko or Argentina's Paula Ormaechea, who also came through qualifying.
