Two talented hardcourters return to action for the first time since the Australian Open today: one indoors, and the other outside.

In Rotterdam, Aussie Open champion Jannik Sinner faces Botic van de Zandschulp, the same player he faced in his opener Down Under. That's perhaps good karma, but some ways it informs our preferred wager.

Sinner will obviously feel some familiarity in the matchup, given their recent collision. He's also been playing lights-out tennis since last November, which is more important. van de Zandschulp is a fine player, and if you set the over/under at "letters in his last name at 15, you might still get guesses of Over from those in the tennis world.

But in the betting world, the play is to take the Under in total games, at +100.

Later tonight, outdoors in Delray Beach, Fla., Taylor Fritz plays for the first time since his quarterfinal loss to Novak Djokovic in Melbourne. He'll face a far-less accomplished opponent, but one who made some noise of his own at the Happy Slam: Borges got his first Top 20 win at the AO, over Grigor Dimitrov, and is now gunning for first Top 10 victory. He also took a set off Daniil Medvedev—though who didn't?—in the fourth round.

There's two problems for Borges in this match-up: first, he's 0-5 against Top 10 competition. Second, Fritz is the defending champion at Delray Beach. The American is outstanding on home soil, with half of his six titles coming in the U.S.

As Dani Klupenger notes in this Game, Set, Bet video, there's not a lot of value in taking Fritz on the moneyline, but to win in straight sets at -165? Get this bet in before the juice continues to climb.
