American tennis players weren’t the only ones grateful for their many blessings this Thanksgiving. Tennis stars, past and present, from across the globe took to social media on Thursday to share how they celebrated the holiday with food, family and friends.

While Thanksgiving in her native Canada is traditionally celebrated in October, 2014 Wimbledon finalist Eugenie Bouchard said she didn’t show up at her holiday celebrations in Long Island’s famous Hamptons empty-handed.

Elsewhere, 2016 Rio Olympic gold medalist Monica Puig celebrated a milestone: her first Thanksgiving as a newlywed. The Puerto Rican star married Nathan Rakitt on Nov. 11.

A month after the birth of her second child, Caroline Wozniacki was feeling grateful. The Danish former world No. 1 and 2018 Australian Open champion welcomed a son, James, with her husband, American former basketball player David Lee, on Oct. 24, and shared a sweet snapshot of their family of four while she expressed a fitting sentiment for the holiday.

Having already shared with her followers last week that she was grateful for all she learned in a breakthrough 2022 WTA season, Coco Gauff spent the holiday off the court, and like many other Americans: surrounded by family and friends.

Gauff was joined by U.S. Billie Jean King Cup teammates Shelby Rogers and Sloane Stephens in giving thanks.

There were no days off for Rogers, who tweeted she was ready for turkey after an off-season training session, and Stephens signed off by wishing her followers well as they celebrated with their own families.

Finally, the legendary Billie Jean King summed it up best—as she often does. Thanksgiving came just two days after King celebrated her 79th birthday, and the all-time great and icon shared her love with all, far and wide.
