Bob and Mike Bryan ended their stories Davis Cup career on a high note on Saturday. The twins beat Uzbekistan's Denis Istomin and Sanjar Fayziev.

"To clinch a tie–we've only had that opportunity a few times in our career," Mike Bryan said. "You don't get to run around with the flag on court, at home, very often. To leave our Davis Cup careers with that, it's awesome."

Mike won 28 doubles matches, while his brother won 26, across 17 years of playing Davis Cup ties. They helped the U.S. team win the trophy in 2007.

In singles action, Reilly Opelka and Taylor Fritz both won in straight sets, setting up the Bryans to clinch the tie. The 41-year-old's do not intend to play the Davis Cup Finals in Madrid in November, but they might go watch.

The United States will be seeded No. 5 and the draw will be made on Thursday.

The Bryans will retire after the US Open, and were meant to make their final appearance in Indian Wells this week before the tournament was cancelled.
