Caroline Garcia to host new podcast called "Tennis Insider Club"

OK, not quite ... but close! France's top player will be the tennis tour's newest podcast host.

Garcia, 30, recently announced the impending launch of "Tennis Insider Club" on social media, and shared her excitement for the venture. The world No. 20 and former world No. 4 is promising to pull back the curtain on the pro tour through interviews with players, coaches, and other influencers in the sport.

"We want to give you some inside stories and share with you a lot more of top players, coaches, and other people around the tennis industry," she said.

To further promote the venture, Garcia also launched a social media giveaway with the top prize being an autographed Yonex racquet.

Garcia is not the first player to dabble in podcast production. Former World No.1 Victoria Azarenka, in partnership with the Tennis Channel podcast network and the WTA, hosted "Think About It" for two seasons, in which she introduced listeners to power players in various industries outside of tennis, including a professional rock climber, an ultra-marathon runner, medical professionals, and the British musician Seal.

"Tennis Insider Club" will be available on Spotify and other major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts.
