Caroline Wozniacki welcomed the latest addition to her growing family earlier this week, and took to social media on Thursday to introduce her second child, James.

Wozniacki announced her pregnancy in June, having retired from professional tennis at the start of 2020. The former world No. 1 and her husband, NBA star David Lee, first became parents in June 2021 to daughter Olivia.

“Family of [four],” Wozniacki wrote on Instagram. “James Wozniacki Lee born October 24, 2022. “Everybody is healthy and Olivia is thrilled to be a big sister."

Within moments of posting, the well wishes were already pouring in from the extended tennis family on Instagram.

“Congratulations! So happy for you,” wrote former world No. 1 Ana Ivanovic in the comments, while Wozniacki’s countryman Holger Rune shared, “Fantastic! Welcome to the world baby boy!”

“We are so so so so happy for you!!” said Brooklyn Decker, on behalf of herself and husband Andy Roddick.

Baby James joins a star-studded roster of potential next gen tennis stars, as the 2022 baby boom has already seen the likes of Rafael Nadal, Daniil Medvedev and Gael Monfils and Elina Svitolina, Johanna Konta and more become parents.

Monfils and Svitolina welcomed daughter Skai two weeks ago, while former No. 1 Medvedev shared a photo of his own newborn daughter the same day. Meanwhile, Nadal seemed to confirm Spanish media reports of the birth of his first son with a social media post.
