Last winter we asked if Casper Ruud was the style heir to Roger Federer, and we’re edging ever closer to a “JA!” on that one.

Ruud just shared a forthcoming spread for Vogue Scandinavia that shows the former world No. 2 embracing a variety of styles and angles for their February-March issue.

“Trying something new,” Ruud teased on Instagram, crediting photographer Jimmy Linus for the sick shots.

The Norwegian is fully in his Cover Boy era—one that would only grow should he come through and win a first Grand Slam title—having shared the spotlight for a similarly chic spread for GQ with his ‘Break Point’ docuseries co-stars, shot by Ilya Lipkin.

“A second-generation pro who made two grand slam final appearances in 2022, Ruud is still adjusting to life as one of his generation’s most elite players,” wrote GQ’s Samuel Hine. “It’s a new status that’s led to novel experiences, like attending New York Fashion Week—“I had no idea how long a fashion show would be!”—and realizing that, more often than not, he’s the guy on court to beat.”

With new friend Anna Wintour stepping in as a potential fashion mentor, where else in the Vogue universe might Casper show up next?
