Chile's Christian Garin breaks into the Top 100

Christian Garin has jumped 13 spots to reach a career-high ranking of No. 89 after winning his third-straight ATP Challenger title, in Lima, last week. He's come a long way after starting 2018 just outside the Top 300.

With the ranking leap, Garin becomes just the second Chilean in the Top 100, behind world No. 41 Nicolas Jarry. The next-highest ranked Chilean is 20-year-old Marcelo Thomas Barrios Vera at No. 291.

The 22-year-old Garin gets to close his 2018 season on a 15-match win streak, with his best wins coming over Federico Delbonis in two of his three finals.

There's no doubt that eyes will be on this up-and-comer in 2019 as he looks to continue his ranking ascent.
