It's no secret Dominika Cibulkova is having a ball of a time since ending her year on an extreme high note by winning the WTA Finals title. After returning from her tropical oasis in the Maldives, the 27-year-old came home to Bratislava, where she was presented with the Slovak tennis player of the year trophy.

The award is well deserved as the Slovak won four titles in 2016 and reached a career-high ranking of No. 5 after seemingly coming out of nowhere to win Singapore.

Cibulkova also returned to the courts for an exhibition match with Belinda Bencic for the Tennis Championships Slovakia (the night also featured Yannick Noah, Dominik Hrbaty, Radek Stepanek and Monsour Barami).

Cibulkova was, appropriately, crowned queen of the night:

Bencic was ranked No. 7 in February but has slipped out of the Top 40 after an injury-marred season. Cibulkova is ending the season inside the Top 10 for the first time in her career.
