Coco Gauff will head to the US Open as the headlining young American after a whirlwind summer saw her reach a maiden major final at Roland Garros; that breakthrough has led to all kinds of high-level opportunities as the teenager takes turns with Vogue and ESPN magazine.

During her brief stint performing in an Atlanta exhibition, Gauff took Vogue through 24 hours that featured a morning workout, a meeting with apparel sponsor New Balance, and a meet and greet before she took the court to play fellow American Sofia Kenin.

Gauff showed off a soon-to-be-released sneaker that features the names of her siblings woven into the laces and her favorite quote—“You can change the world with your racquet”—written across the shoe.

“I feel like I like a sporty-stylish type of vibe,” explains the world No. 12. “I like to be comfortable, I like wearing sneakers and baggy, comfortable stuff. Some days I want to look like I belong in a metal band, and some days I want to look like I belong in a flower field. It just depends on what I feel like that day!”

Gauff showed off more of her passion for fashion in an ESPN magazine photoshoot that seemingly blends her aesthetics in a neon leopard print cover.

The newly crowned WTA doubles No. 1 reached the singles third round of the US Open in her 2019 main-draw debut, backing up her unforgettable Wimbledon run from earlier that year. Gauff aims to not only complete a box-set of second week appearances in Flushing Meadows, but also score an elusive Top 10 debut.
