CINCINNATI, Ohio — They say good things come in threes, and for Coco Gauff, that applies to both life and tennis fashion.

The 21-year-old American unveiled the final look from her trio of New Balance x Miu Miu tennis kits this week at the Cincinnati Open. And true to form, she’s already dreaming up a fashion crossover project of her own.

Seeded No. 2, Gauff opened her Cincinnati campaign on Sunday with a confident second-round win over Wang Xinyu, 6-3, 6-2. She wore a white and royal blue cropped top with a matching pleated skirt—all designed by her longtime sponsor New Balance in collaboration with the buzzy Italian fashion house Miu Miu.

“It’s been a great year—and I have not repeated an outfit!” Gauff told press in Cincinnati. “I don’t know if anyone’s noticed this year, but I’ve worn a different outfit for every tournament.

“That’s something I’m really proud of. I don’t think it’s been done… I don’t know if it’ll be repeated.”

Each of the three kits in the New Balance x Miu Miu collection featured a color palette inspired by its tournament setting, creating a sharp and modern look. In Rome, Gauff wore black, white, and red. In Berlin, it was fresh green and white. For Cincinnati, the kit leaned Americana with white, royal blue, and a pop of red.

“I think Berlin was my favorite, because I just felt so pretty in it,” Gauff said. “I think that green just looked really good on the grass.”

The collection also includes technical silk zip-front hoodies and track pants in coordinating shades for warmups.

On court, Gauff is wearing a co-branded version of her signature shoe, the Coco CG2, in black. Off court, she’s sporting new iterations of the New Balance x Miu Miu 350 SL shoe.

In the meantime, Gauff is already eyeing future collaborations. Asked which designer or label she would choose for a dream project, she highlighted the work of Liberian-American designer Telfar Clemens.

“Something with Telfar could be cool, just because they're founded by a Black designer,” she said. “I think they also do some athletic wear already. Yeah, I feel like they would be cool.”

Founded in New York City in 2005, Telfar is known for its luxurious yet affordable leather bags, such as the signature Shopping Bag—seen on stars from Beyoncé to Bella Hadid and Dua Lipa. In recent years, the label has expanded into performance athletic wear and athleisure apparel, making it a natural fit for Gauff’s style.

Next up, Gauff—again in her New Balance x Miu Miu kit—will face No. 32 seed Dayana Yastremska in the third round on Tuesday, the third match of the day on P&G Center Court.
