After fighting on the court and vying for another title for their trophy cases at the US Open, Danielle Collins and Bethanie Mattek-Sands traded their racquets for chic handbags and their sneakers for heels this week. With New York fashion week in full swing, the two friends were all over the city attending shows.

The two appeared at contemporary fashion brand, Veronica Beard's presentation and posed for photos in a few business meets casual pieces from the fashion company that launched in 2009 by fashion designer Veronica Swanson Beard. Collins opted for a lively lavender blazer and shorts ensemble, while Mattek-Sands wore form-fitting jeans. They were able to take in the latest collection and meet Beard herself at the intimate event.

The day prior, the best friends also made their way over to the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Toast. With more than a year and a half of no "in real life" gatherings, the CFDA was excited to celebrate their finalists and have a chance to meet. Collins dazzled in an all-black mini dress with an eccentric shoulder sleeve and all white booties. This time, Mattek-Sands wore a colorful dress with floral notes and platform heels.

Fashion Week is far from over for the Americans, they were also spotted at Cinq à Sept's rooftop fashion show, and Alice & Olivia's event on Friday night. Up next? The trending fashion brand, Staud. The fashion company is full of statement pieces and will be giving a glimpse into their 2022 Spring collection on Sunday.

As the party continues, Collins and Mattek-Sands are sure to continue serving up fire looks.
