It seems some players were extra busy during quarantine this year as a slew of books have come out one after the other. The only bad news is that they're not in English, but still, a book is a huge achievement and one to be celebrated.

Here's a look at what new tennis reading is available now or coming soon:

1

Andrea Pektovic

The German wrote her first book titled “Zwischen Ruhm und Ehre Liegt die Nacht" ("Between Fame and Honor Lies the Night") about her life from growing up in former Yugoslavia to reaching the Top 10 and beyond. It's more than just tennis as Petkovic has long been passionate about literature and writing. While it's in German, she said on Instagram that she's working on the English version already.

2

Fabio Fognini

Released on September 15 in Italian, the world No. 15 appropriately titled his book "Warning". He's picked up quite the reputation for racquet smashes, poor language and wild theatrics over the years.

3

Alize Cornet

The world No. 53 came out with her autobiography "Sans Compromis" ("Without Compromise") in September. It's currently only available in French, but she hinted that it may be out in English one day.

That's a wrap on new books so far in 2020, though don't expect a slowdown with some more downtime looming ahead in the calendars.
