What gives Daria Saville 'the ick' on the tennis court? In her latest viral video, the Aussie let us all know.

For those not completely attuned to the latest TikTok trends, “the ick” is internet slang, a term for something a person finds unsuitable in a potential partner.

Some might argue that finding someone to practice with, or play doubles with, is just like dating. But if you're one of Saville's fellow WTA pros, or a coach on tour, it'll serve you well to avoid:

  • Too much coaching during practice.
  • Complicated drills.
  • Hitting winners during a warm-up.
  • Taking forever to warm-up serves before playing points.
  • Not wanting to [keep] score in a practice match.
  • Asking 'How did it go?' when you can look up her match's live scores
  • Coaches shadowing players' mistakes
  • When players tuck their skirts into their shorts.

The verdict? It seems that many of these give Saville's peers the 'ick,' too.

Current and former players Jennifer Brady, Johanna Konta, Arina Rodionova and Tamara Zidansek were among those to smash the like button, with former Roland Garros semifinalist Zidansek writing, "This is too good," in the comments.

Aussie coach Darren Cahill weighed in, too, saying: "The first one is moneyyyyy," he wrote. "I don't do that, do I?"

WTA coaches and players, you're on notice.
