It wasn't all celebrations and dancing for Novak Djokovic at Monday's grand opening of the the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in Nice, France. In an interview at the event, Novak Djokovic revealed he is trying to enjoy tennis again.

The Serb said he's looking forward to "enjoying sport and enjoying being on the tennis court," admitting he lost his way since winning the French Open for the first time in his career earlier this year.

Since achieving that milestone, Djokovic was upset in the third round of Wimbledon and the first round of the Olympic Games, but won Toronto. He then reached the final of the US Open, falling to Stan Wawrinka.

"It was a very turbulent period, but another great season," the world No. 1 says of the time between Paris and the US Open.

Next up for Djokovic is defending his Shanghai Masters 1000 title in October.
