Djokovic has some fun training for the US Open
Published Aug 06, 2020
After some speculation, Novak Djokovic leads the 2020 US Open men's draw. He's been putting in the work on hard courts in Spain ahead of a trip to New York City.
The world No. 1 hasn't competed since the Adria Tour fell apart in June. He's planning on competing in the Western & Southern Open first, which is being held in New York starting on August 22.
The US Open will look very different this year, with no fans and no Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal. It will be the first time since 1999 that both are missing from the draw.
Last year, Djokovic lost in the fourth round to Stan Wawrinka after withdrawing with a shoulder injury. Nadal would win the title over Daniil Medvedev in the final.
