Novak Djokovic needed just three sets to take out a tired Kevin Anderson and capture his fourth Wimbledon crown, 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (3).

The 31-year-old was ecstatic to snap a two-year drought, but he was most happy about being able to raise the trophy in front of his son. Their family moment captured hearts everywhere—it was like it was only the three of them on Centre Court at that point.

Three-year-old Stefan was too young to watch the match from the stands (the All England Club has an age rule, and children must be five), but he got to witness the awards ceremony alongside his mom, Jelena.

"He was not there till the very moment when I was walking to get an interview," Djokovic said. "He walked in. So that was just a moment that I will carry inside of my heart forever."

Everyone was loving it, but no one more than Djokovic.

The Serbian was emotional about the special moment, saying that winning in front of Stefan was his motivation.

"Actually, I didn't talk about it, but it was one of, if not the biggest, motivation I've had for this Wimbledon this year," Djokovic said. "I was visualizing, imagining this moment of him coming to the stands, cherishing this moment with my wife and me and everyone. It's hard to describe."

While in the player box, Stefan was absolutely thriving, but once he got to celebrate with Djokovic, he understandably got a little camera shy.

Even before watching his dad win his 13th Grand Slam, Stefan was hooked on tennis.

"He was by far the best sparring partner I had in the last couple of weeks," Djokovic said.

Djokovic returns to the Top 10 after his success this fortnight. It's his first Grand Slam win since taking home the French Open in 2016.
