If you’ve been missing Dominic Thiem on the ATP Tour, it’s your lucky day.

Even though he’s not playing in New York this year, the US Open defending champion has garnered some recent attention. However, it’s not because of his tennis skills.

Thiem has been a brand ambassador for UniCredit Bank Austria since 2017. He’s appeared in multiple commercials for them since then, typically training in the forests and mountains of Austria or performing an impressive stunt. The most recent ad is a bit different. The world No. 6 is still surrounded by nature, but this time, he goes au natural as well.

Thiem, appearing to have just finished up a run, decides to seize the opportunity of being alone in the great outdoors. Thiem enjoys a little skinny dip and a soak in the sun until he is interrupted by a group of young hikers and struggles to get his clothes back without being seen.

The commercial is surprising, comical, and shows off a silly side of the 27-year-old that we don’t often see.

While the nude tennis player might have stolen much of the spotlight in the ad, it still conveyed a message that Thiem is passionate about: the importance of sustainability. Bank Austria is launching a new campaign for the MegaCard GoGreen Teen Account, which can be found through their website.

And keep an eye out for more of Thiem in their future commercials, either clothed or unclothed.
