Hey Harries: Elina Svitolina has two keys to Harry’s House.

It turns out the Ukrainian had an excellent contingency plan in case her Wimbledon campaign ended earlier than expected, picking up two tickets to see Harry Styles in concert on Middle Sunday.

“I was supposed to see my fav @HarryStyles concert in Vienna tomorrow,” she wrote on Instagram Saturday morning. “But Wimbledon changed my plans.”

Indeed it has: Svitolina has continued to bring revelatory tennis to the Grand Slam stage this summer after storming into the Roland Garros quarterfinals last month. The 28-year-old only just returned to tennis from maternity leave in the spring and is already on the brink of returning to the Top 50.

Into the fourth round at the All England Club for the first time since reaching the semifinals in 2019, the new mom has a treat for a lucky fan (or two).

“Someone want to go? I have two tickets,” she offers on Instagram in tandem with Wimbledon’s official social account.

Hopefully Svitolina, who has been an impassioned advocate for Ukraine in the wake of Russia and Belarus' continued invasion into her country, has a Styles-ish playlist at the ready as she prepares to take on fellow mom Victoria Azarenka for the chance to reach a second straight major quarterfinal.

“I didn't know how my body will react under a lot of pressure,” she reflected, preaching patience to those on the comeback trail after defeating Sofia Kenin on Friday, “when there is lots of things going on in your head, when you have a lot of adrenaline, nerves.

“It was new for me, new feeling, so I had to adjust and I needed time. All these tough matches that I had at the beginning, starting from Charleston from April, they were really a big challenge for me, because before, you know, I was, like, ‘Okay, I was winning these matches.’ I was playing well. In the third set, I was doing this and that, and it was like 90% of the time was working.

“But here, you know, your body is a bit different, reacting different. So, it takes time. For some people will click a bit earlier maybe. For some it takes time, so you need to expect the worst to be okay with everything.”

That patience may yet pay off in other ways: with Harry’s Love on Tour continuing through Europe through the month of July, might Svitolina have another shot at catching him before his final show in Reggio Emilia, Italy?
