Emma Raducanu has officially started her pre-season training which includes a little splash tennis. Starring in Nike's latest "Sports Lab" episode, she traded tennis balls for water balloons in the ultimate and perhaps most-unique tennis challenge.

It all started off with Raducanu opening a huge Nike box filled with the required equipment and necessary gear. Inside she found a Wilson tennis racquet, a Bullseye, water balloons and a poncho. The Brit quickly threw it on before putting her target skills to the test.

The goal was to smash as many water balloons onto the target as possible to score points. She kicked things off feeling quite confident, but that shortly turned into confusion as she asked herself, "what is going on?" Turns out hitting water balloons onto a Bullseye target is much more difficult than it looks.

"I don't think it's me that's that bad," she said laughingly.

The world No. 19 sprayed the water balloons everywhere before finally landing a few and grabbing a hold of some points. It took a bit of warming up, but she managed to find her way onto the scoreboard and had fun doing it. Before the Sports Lab episode ended, dancer Soyeon took over and showcased how dance can express all emotions.

The 19-year-old enjoyed an amazing 2021 season, becoming the first-ever qualifier to win a Grand Slam in September when she won the US Open. Since her historic run she struggled to put together three consecutive wins in her last three tournaments. She will undoubtedly be ready to start 2022 on a winning note, but for now she's enjoying the off-season with a little bit of jet skiing.

She took to Instagram to share a short clip of her racing through the calm and beautifully blue waters on her tropical vacation.

"It’s meee!! came a novice but am leaving addicted," she wrote on Instagram.
