There’s not many traditions more famous than the Wimbledon Queue, a time-honored British tradition of standing in line to gain access to the All England Club.

Unlike any other modern sporting event, Wimbledon still reserves a large portion of each days’ tickets for queuers, with 500 on each show court available the morning of play for those that make the cut.

With defending champion Roger Federer opening Monday’s Centre Court play as per tradition, legions of fans have already begun the queuing process for a chance to see the 20-time Grand Slam champion.

On Friday night, there were already some die-hard fans preparing to camp for three nights—that's over 60 hours.

By Saturday evening, the number of queuers had reportedly risen to around 500, which is the maximum number of tickets available for Centre Court.

It will all be worth it to see the eight-time Wimbledon champion open Day One play against Serbian Dusan Lajovic.
