Fed Cup winners meet the President of France

Sometimes, tennis players get more perks than just money and a trophy; once in awhile, they get to meet the President of their respective country. The French team who won the Fed Cup final against Australia had a group meeting with President Macron.

Kristina Mladenovic, Caroline Garcia, Pauline Parmentier, Alize Cornet, and Fiona Ferro all got to have a once in a lifetime experience at the Élysée Palace in the heart of France.

The French were able to enjoy this outing after defeating Australia in the Fed Cup final, 3-2. This was the first final between the two nations. In previous non-final meetings, France had only defeated Australia once in the World Group in 2000.
