Look out sneaker world, the Swiss brand “On” has just leveled up.

Over the weekend, the company announced they have brought on a new investor/contributing designer/public face: Roger Federer.

Federer has become a style icon, but did you know he has hundreds of pairs of shoes and multiple shoe closets? It makes sense given his 20 years with Nike, but the Swiss is a certified sneaker-head even after switching to Uniqlo.

The On brand has built something of a cult-like following among endurance-athletes since their 2010 launch.

“Fans seem to think of us as an insider secret,” Olivier Bernhard—Iron Man champion and one of On’s three founders—told the *New York Times*.

“We’ve been chatting about what we could do together, I thought it’d be a perfect time for me to be a part of that, because I love my fashion as you know,” Federer told TODAY's Savannah Guthrie Monday.

Federer was quick to dismiss the notion that his new endeavor has anything to do with a possible retirement.

“But no, this is not about retirement," he said. "On doesn’t want me to retire, they want me to play as long as possible and that is my goal."

Federer’s newest kicks will drop sometime in 2020.
